Our first ever ENA Halloween Event 2014 was a great success! Many thanks for all who volunteered their time and efforts, especially the ENA Board Members who made it all possible in the first place!
Our Annual Neighborhood Cleanup 2012 was another smashing success, the three dumpsters supplied by the city were overflowing! Glad so many were able to take advantage of free disposal of large items.
Saturday April 21, 2012 Annual Picnic was a bit low on turn-out this year, due to weather, but for those who attended a good time was had by all… Thanks again for the efforts of the neighborhood volunteers and our beloved sponsors – Start to Finish Spine Care, GFC Marketplace, 3187 4th St. Westshore Pizza and Harvey’s 4th Street Grill, who together made it all possible.
Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Edgemoor Neighborhood was given the city-wide honor of receiving the Outstanding Volunteer Achievement Award for 2011 from Mayor Foster. Tom DeMint and Paul Kubala were on-hand to receive the award. Our thanks and gratitude go out to ALL those who volunteer!
Saturday, September 3, 2011 nearly 40 good neighbors showed up at 8:30am for the annual Coastal Cleanup behind Puryear Park, including volunteers from Keep Pinellas Beautiful, bless their hearts. KPB supplied pick-up-sticks, trash bags, cold water, gloves, a trailer to remove the collected trash bags and they even supplied bug spray! Thank you so much KPB! Overall, the waters edge was not in too bad of shape, though quite a bit of debris was collected and bagged for removal so nature could revert back to her natural unobstructed state. Beautiful job everybody and thanks for your efforts. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend, you earned it!!!! December 3, 2011 added photos provided by the folks at Keep Pinellas Beautiful (now I know I need a new camera!)
June 29, 2011 in a quasi on-the-fly operation we removed all the old Edgemoor Neighborhood signs, in preparation for the new signs which are scheduled to be installed by the city the week of July 4. Yes, sad but true, the old duck signs are no more. Our neighborhood hero’s today were Tom, Paul, Doug, Haydon, Richard and Carolyn. It was stifling hot but we had a good many laughs (mostly at the duck’s expense) and our deed was done! Have a great 4th of July weekend everybody!!!
A recent Volunteer project on Hampton Ave. May 28, 2011 (sorry for the late post) for the removal of a tree limb. The project was generated by the City of St. Pete. Our neighbors who participated in this effort were Ryan, Stacy, Doug, Chad and Carolyn, helping hands make for lite work! If you wish to participate in future volunteer projects, just drop a line to our association president, TomDeMint@myedgemoorneighborhood.com and he will add you to our list! What a great sense of community!
The 2011 Edgemoor Annual Neighborhood Picnic on April 16th was a huge success!
Over 250 neighbors joined in and a good time was had by all!
